I plucked this one from circulation the other day. First thought was post-Mint damage, but then I thought, "what if it's a double ragged clip," especially given the apparent Blakesley Effect opposite the clips. Thoughts on this one before I send it back to work (into circulation)?

I think that your first thought was the correct one. I'm not sure if that flattening opposite to the rim bruise is purposeful in order to simulate a Blakesley's Effect or is just random damage.
