https://www.ebay.com/itm/2354568650...9SR_77wprmYwWhile I am not a potential buyer of this item (no returns, way overpriced even if real, gross seller misrepresentations, etc.), I am curious what it is. It appears to be a contemporary counterfeit, probably made of lead. But it could be a modern counterfeit, treated to look old. Any opinions before someone kindly reports it? Adding a pic of the obverse here for educational purposes when/if the auction gets pulled:

My guess is that it is of pressure die cast manufacture, much like a die cast metal toy car.

What irked me most was that I was searching for 1872-S. The seller is trolling for a sucker, pricing the coin as if it was an 1872-S.

And now gone.
It's interesting how fraudulent sellers "shoot the moon" with their listings. People would be fooled into buying fake seated and bust dollars if they were priced at $200. But the sellers try to push it and get market price for their junk. Their high prices attract the attention of people that know the real thing.
