Toned Morgan Dollars? - Coin Community Forum

Looking at the pic, any idea why one is toned and the other not? they have been stored in these grading flips since 1985/86. Is the toned one anymore valuable? Pmint1 Valued Member United States 465 Posts	Posted 05/02/2024 10:59 pm They both look nice. I'm not familiar with the grading company but I like to buy odd and older certified coins. As for me I would pay a slight premium for the old certification as I'm interested in them and I personally would pay a little more for the toned 1889 as I like toned Morgan's. Pmint1 Valued Member United States 465 Posts	Posted 05/02/2024 11:02 pm After googling ICG I didn't realize they have graded that long ago. I like ICG and feel they are not bad at grading. I have a few icg slabs and I think the coins I have are accurately graded. Report this Post to the Staff
