By No means am I an expert or even close to a novice at this but I say AU55-58? Just want to see how I guessed against the big dogs. Nice Morg. that is a year I do not have yet.

I concur with Chump...55 to 58. New Orleans minted Morgans are known for weak strikes, but it looks like there is a little rub on the hair swirly thing above the 2nd star to the right of the date.

Barely circulated. AU58.

The obverse is covered with PVC damage. All that green stuff. Research the proper use of acetone, available by using the Search function on this forum, and get that coin into acetone before it's irreversibly damaged. It may be too late.

Thanks for the help guys. I was hoping MS-60 but I dont think it quite makes it. AU58 still has a nice jump in price though!

I killed the PVC with acetone right after this scan was taken. I was just excited about the price jump so I wanted to see what you guys thought HAHA

NIce looking coin. Great for a circ set because its just a bit circulated enough to getoff any surface dings but not enough to loose detail.
