Anyone find these interesting for a collection? Obviously not normally for its silver content alone as they contain only 1/1000th Troy oz of .999 pure silver which doesn't warrant the $9-10 price value and would of course be better served with silver rounds/bars/coins or collectible silver rounds which at least are usually on 1 ounce rounds beyond their silver content... but curious about the appeal as a collectible which has separate numismatic value than its metal intrinsic value.

From an artistic, creative & unique perspective.... (IMO) they're interesting. I think they might do well being geared toward the apocalyptic Comic-con genre.

The subject matter is a little dark for my tastes.

Thanks for the replies so far. So, this has been done before on coins. While the original collection on coins in silver mostly but also copper offered zombified images reflecting classic American currency designs, the launch of the next 2.0 collection they did brought new, distinct designs reflecting zombified versions of popular global bullion coins like the panda on the currency and the coin below..

Now the 'goldback' currency seems to be popular enough which has more fantasy themes that perhaps someone like steveintampa may like more - these images for those are here https://www.goldback.com/goldback-art-gallery and Silver Dragons did a more fantasy silver version that in terms of a popularity of design I feel is good on that one.seen here in this link https://www.goldback.com/news/intro...s-silverback ...but just trying to understand the appeal as a collectible for demand over time for these since the metal itself the note is made out of does not warrant the premium alone and would be better to get the coins with more silver in that regard. Aside from this specific design they could use artists or even potentially licensed images (IE pokemon, superheroes, star wars etc) if they were popular enough to warrant a license purchase.

I like a good zombie movie though.

I find these more interesting, but I do not own any.
