So thanks to anothers post I see that I have a ' Ridge Ring', Love learning new terms, around the penny.
My question is this; As the 'L' in Liberty is in line with the Ridge Ring, would this be an 'IIB' error or just wrong place at the wrong time? LOL!

It is customary to post full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse--in addition to one or two closer-in shots. That way, we can better understand the full context of the coin and what we should be looking at.

Ridge rind and DDD not a BIE

Kool, I wasn't thinking BIE, only saying 'IIB' because it cut through the lower leg of the "L" Either way thank you for the reference post explaining Die Deterioration!!

Unfortunately my microscope is cheap and I don't have the ability to do full shots unless I use my phone, which isn't very good either. I will try to do better!

Never said 'BIE' I understand BIE error, I was referring to the 'Table' missing on the 'L' making it look more like an 'I' hence the term 'IIB'
Hence the joke about wrong place wrong time, at the end.

A BIE is any die chip or crack in the word Liberty. Check this site out. http://cuds-on-coins.com/

The term IIB is used when referring to a BIE, that's the confusion here.
