Japanese-1/2-Sen,-Date??

One last try because I can't be that much of a dummy to get a couple of images loaded. I think I finally got it right. So now can anyone read the date of this coin? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It is quite difficult to see, but with the help of contrast filter, I believe it's a Meiji 15 1/2 sen, which is 1882 if I am not mistaken... :)

Here is a site that converts western years to Japanese.
I used photoshop to see the coin better and still had trouble working it out. My suspicion was also 1882, by the process of elimination but it still was not a good match. There is a member on the forum who knows the correct way to read these coins.

It is indeed Meiji 15 (1882 on the Western calendar).
