I have been trying to put to gether a type set for American minted Foreign coins I had no idea how many there were The us mints Philly, SAnFransico Denver and New Orleans have minted coins for 42 countries . From 1875 to 1980 including Austraila Canada, Netherlands. If you want a challenge try this putting this one together

the Mexico Peso made in San Francisco for China.
I just bought another one (damaged) for $10.

willieboyd2 a mexican peso made in SanFran. for china was it used as a Trade dollar

There is a book that was published a few years ago that listed all of the coins made in the US mints for other countries. Does anyone recall it?

yes its called Official Black Book Price guide to World Coins or at least it covers the same info
