I'd like to own one of these, but can't go much more than an EF. Thoughts on this one? 30 day returns.

VF35. Lovely circulation cameo. This is a very attractive coin.

So I take it that none of you are bothered by the scratches in the right obverse field? I like the coin and am in the bidding. Just for comparison sake, I did some research on slabbed coins (as I always do before bidding). Here is an NGC graded VF35. I'm thinking the coin I'm bidding on makes EF40. Thoughts?

I'll say VF-35. Can't quite see 40.

i think its a top end VF35 but the obv is going to hold it from XF.
both obv fields have a considerable amount scratches under that toning. the right field almost to the point that it looks intentional and that someone attempted to alter that area to reduce its appearance. if a TPG sees it as intentional it would details.

Just as well. Another one that went past my high bid. I'm willing to pay a certain price - once it passes that, I'm out.

Sounds like you're keeping track of selling prices - be patient.
