Hello everyone Is my 1944 copper penny that is a double die and missing the #1 on the date rare ? And does anyone know if it's valuable? I've looked as many places as I could think of and never saw another one like it *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***
I actually have come across a 944 Lincoln Cent before. Yes the 1 was Struck Through Grease, and possibly from the same goobed up die as this one. It's kinda neat for a very minor error but not worth much of a premium.
