Uncirculated examples only bring $130 - $175 at best, so keeping a circulated note may not be a wise decision with inflation. It's hard to justify keeping a circulated, high denomination note. Personally, I'd spend it.

And, I would suggest rotating your photos before posting them.

HOW much ? WHAT IS A DOLLAR WORTH?

$ 100 Dollar in Starting Year 1954
is worth
$ 1,134.00
2024
The 1950 C was probably issued around 1962-63
Saving large denominations is not a wise idea .
Invest it or spend it !

Nice note but not worth letting inflation continue to eat up its spending power. So, it would be a spender in my book.

The 1950-C 100$ notes were issued sometime around 1961 or 1962 during the early years of the Kennedy/Johnson administration. Elizabeth Rudel Smith was the Treasurer during that time frame and was only in office about 15 months.

Be nice to know where it's been hiding the past 60 years. Oh, the stories it could tell!

Thx for posting!
