The coin looks to me to have some issue as I have listed below.

This looks like a Double struck P as well as possibly the 84 in the date.
I am also noticing that it looks like there is an issue on the IGWT strike and the LI in Liberty is weakly struck.
As a novice looking at error coins I am wondering if anyone has any input that might help me out.

On the reverse it also looks like a very weak strike in part of the word United Stated

I have attempted to add pictures with and without direct lighting because this is my first post and I was not sure which ones would show the most detail

to the CCF The obverse die was old and wore out. The reverse die was a little DDD.

The post on the die that creates the center of the P is broken off. Very common.

with above, also noted is 'Radial flow lines' indicating a very worn out die, and possible Grease Filled Die (weak design elements)

to the CCF! The coin is worth face value. 99.999% of the coins you examine are worth only face value. Most will have some sort of bump, scrape, ding, Machine Doubling, or have any number of perceived issues, none of which add any value to the coin. Sometimes, however, you will find a true error or variety that is worth keeping and gives you bragging rights. Education is the key that allows this to be a rewarding hobby, and this forum is one the best places to help gain that education.

Thank you Donnie59 for your post,

I am looking forward to learning as I continue to post coins. I have a large cloth bag of coins that have been sitting in my safe for over 40 years that I forgot all about until I saw an add about possible error coins and seeing I am retired now I can spend a littler time going through them.
