Again, thanks for all the welcome to the CCF community. I definitely did the reverse order of coin interaction with sending many examples to NGC first.

The attached 1976 Dime appears to have some doubling near the ear loction on Front. The most interesting portion of the coin is the Torch. Not sure if it got repunched or something odd happened in the coins process thru mint.

Any suggestions before I ask the community here if I should send somewhere for further evaluation? Thanks.

Die Deterioration, Reed Mark, and PMD. Just a face value coin.

to the CCF, eagle2a1! To me, these issues look like circulation hits on your coin. The top of the torch looks like Reed Marks. Don't send these in for slabbing.

Agree. Post-strike damage on the reverse. Would need to examine he obverse in-hand to really get a sense for what may be going on. I do understand that won't be happening.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm always willing to let others see in hand any of the coins posted here as I'm completely new and believe we all have a passion with coins that can be shared. I can always try taking more phtotos of areas like the Obverse for better viewing.

But, I do thank all for the quick responses and comments.
