Hello, my name is Steve and I'm new to the group. I too, am looking for information about the 1954 General Motors 50 Million coins/tokens. I have researched and talked with people over the last year and a half, about how many different coins were produced. The magic number is 25. I have not found any one person that has all 25. I've heard the 27-29 count too, but no one can come up with more than 25 different variations. I have located 20 of the 25 variations for my collection, so far. I am still seeking 5 variations to complete my set. They are, Packard Electrical, Cleveland Diesel, Delco Appliance, Detroit Diesel, and BLC Open House (Brown-Lipe-Chapin). I have many extra variations to trade or will purchase outright. Any help at all is greatly appreciated! The complete list of the 25 variations is as follows: Buick Detroit Diesel GMC Truck & Coach Saginaw Steering Gear Rochester Products General Motors Delco Radio B-O-P BLC Open House Delco Appliance Cleveland Diesel Pontiac Cadillac Detroit Transmission Harrison Radiator Ternstedt United Motors Service New Departure Diesel Equipment Central Foundry Chevrolet Body By Fisher Packard Electrical 14 Guage Steel Hyatt Bearings I hope that this list helps to find missing variations for other collectors. Thank you very much, Steve *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

I moved your thread because you posted in a really old thread. Looks like very useful info you have provided. John1

Steve I'm born and raised in the birth place of GM but no nothing of these tokens . And unfortunately they is only 1 coin shop in the area that deals with coins and tokens and is a small shop. But next time I'm in there I will ask if they have what you are looking for or if they have any information on them about a year ago I did find a token that was minted in the 70s for the sit down strike . So maybe some hope there.I just haven't looked for them at this shop.

Hi Steve, this is Joe. I'm still on the look out for your pieces as well as mine. Do you know if the Cleveland pieces were only given out at the Cleveland plant? That might help narrow the search.

I have never heard of these tokes, I'm interested in learning more about them now. Good luck in your search - and if I see any, I'll report back here.
