1958 Penny Showing Gouge Thur Ear On Front

eagle2a1 Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 05/25/2024 9:09 pm The attached pictures are showing something of a channel thru Lincoln's ear on this 1958 Penny found. I've tried to see from multiple views if just scratched or something but unable to confirm. Seems to be a channel formed. There also is a skull die crack possibly formed; if I'm saying this correctly. And, the overall quality of coin might be worth sending for further evaluation, maybe?
