*** Edited by Staff to Add Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I was going through 1992-Ds looking for the Close AM and discovered this coin.

Error is apparent on Lincoln's head as well as the memorial building. E,C,A in America appear to have doubling along with a majority of the rest of the coin.

I'm new to the coin community and am unsure if there's something to look into on this coin or if it's fairly normal to see this sort of errors on the 1992-D.

Appears to be Machine Doubling, with the possibility of Die Deterioration thrown in. Not a DDO / DDR. Posting photos taken of display screens is typically not encouraged.

Not a doubled die. As already stated, split plating and along with that is Plating Disturbance, no premium or value.

Tgomey, did you not see this when you uploaded the poorly-cropped pictures of your scope screen?

Thank you all for the help and advice. I apologize for the screen pictures. Just joined and there's a lot to learn. Assumed "no pictures of screens" was referring to a screen shot on a phone vs pictures taken.

Looking forward to learning more.

TG.

Yes, please use the memory card. Taking a photo of your scope screen is a problem because the pixels on the screen and the pixels of your phone's camera sensor never line up. This adds visual artifacts to the image that will obscure details on on the coin.
