I apologize in advance if this is not in the right forum.

I think this coin is pretty cool but I wanted to see everyone's thoughts. Was this coin "accelerated"/artificially toned or do think it was toned naturally?

It's in an auction right now and I am thinking of buying it... so I am curious.

Thank you guys!

Does not look like natural aging toning to me. But I don't collect toned coins, I could be wrong.

I'm a bit suspicious of the toning; the banding looks artificial to me. However, this isn't a high-dollar coin, so if you like it and the price is reasonable, I'd consider going for it...

Looks to be intentionally toned. Doesn't seem to reflect toning that would come from being in an album for many, many decades, or being in a old mint canvas bag for a similar about of time.

The coin is AT. Do not pay any premium for the toning.

100% intentionally toned. That color progression as well as the progressional location of the colors is unnatural. Appears of be high AU.

Nothing wrong with paying a premium for slabbed original toned Morgans that are aesthetically pleasing. This doesn't fit the bill. Hard pass.
