This is one of my favorite error coins. The clash was so hard and deep that I am really surprised the dies didn't shatter. I posted images and promised better quality pictures latter in the week, but that was about 5 years ago. Well, here you go! I guess it's never too late.  The obverse shows clashed areas that are in the deeper engraved areas such as the outline of almost the full torch flame across Roosevelt's cheek, neck and chin, with some details in the field near IN GOD WE TRUST. An oak leaf outline is visible under his ear and lots of the olive branch to the front of the portrait and across his nose. Letters from UNUM and a large E from ONE were also transferred by the clash. The bottom of the words OF AMERICA are visible to the back of the portrait and just under. The reverse has parts of IN GOD WE TRUST in the field and the top of the torch. Part of the date shows up between OF AMERICA. Part of the letters from LIBERTY along with the outline of the forehead and hairline are seen in the area above the word ONE and into the D of DIME. I'm sure I missed a few details of the clash and even more can be seen with the coin in hand by rotating or tilting the coin under the lights. Let me know what you think!
