MS seems right to me, but there's a mark in the lower half of the right field next to the arrowheads that might detail it.

MS-60PL sounds like a good estimate.

MS-60 PL looks about right to me,
but the hairlines associated with an MS-grade detract, unfortunately.

As a parallel,
I have a 1937 proof British proof cam sovereign in about PR-62, (5,501 struck),
but the value of the coin is only a fraction of an equivalent PR-65+ coin.

It's probably AU58 but would likely pull a low MS grade. It does not show the full mirrors needed for PL.

Hard to grade. Obverse looks like it might go PL, but the reverse is very questionable.

dang you have good eyes if you can see through all of that IGE. keep in mind a low MS coin 60,61,62 and even 63 can have broken luster if thats what you are seeing. I think the only way to tell 100% is to have the coin in hand and rotate it in the right lighting. you could be right but using these photos its a tough call
