After watching a video I looked through my 1965 pennies and I found four of them most of just ordinary but I found one that had the L in Liberty missing does anybody have any information on this one!

The L isn't missing. It just got shifted closer to the rim. Common sight in pennies this old. No big deal.

1965-66-67 cents have no mint marks and were minted at the Philadelphia mint.
The L near the rim of the coin is normal for those years.Not rare in any means.

These videos have resulted in a lot of new members and posts on this board. After hearing the truth of the matter, we never see most of them again. The videos are the "it must be rare if it is different" variety. They also result in a lot of ebay listings for " L on the rim", " no mint mark", "major error" (damaged) coins that never sell (except to someone that has watched the same video).
