John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 06/29/2024 07:36 am First,it is called a die not a dye. No lamination, looks like a stain of some kind on the reverse. No split die. On the reverse at 9k is a die crack, possible pre Cud but not sure. The line at 10k might be another die crack or part of the pre Cud I mentioned. Need a photo of the edge to see if the cent,(not a penny) has been re-plated .The grainy look is a bit odd. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
