I will also try this 1342 Juchid pul with a written date. "Zarb Qarm seven hundred and forty three" (743 AH = 1342) in a number of lines, all within a double square within a large circle / Double-headed stylized eagle within a multiple border. 18mm, 1.18 grams. Mint of Qarm (?). Lebedev #50-1; Yanina 51; Zeno 43350. What say the judges?  The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.

.... and a catch up for 1463 (AH867) Gujarat Sultanate AE Falus 18mm 9.37g Nasir al-Din Mahmud I G&G G150 I've changed the photo to B&W. It helped to get the date to stand out under a heap of copper corrosion.  The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.

So many catch-ups!
...and so many new gaps, because we had almost nothing posted since we entered the 13th century. But at least the 15th and 14th centuries are filling up more.

On the 1342/743 coin: AFAICT it's disputed whether this type is supposed to read 743 or 744, and/or whether in fact both dates exist. I can't read Arabic so I'd need to ask you for it anyway.
I couldn't quite figure out what was going on with the 1301/700 coin either.
1307 is a question mark because of the 707 AH coin, whose conversion depends on Gregorian vs. Julian.
I found out recently that Wikidata has dates for AH years and months, and according to those it should convert to 1307, which is why it's another questionable entry.

...I actually had to recheck Zeno after that comment, because what I thought was the 49 was actually the mint name (Dimashq; it turns out that for this issue the mint very closely correlates with the date, but there are several exceptions and I didn't find them quickly).
But I rechecked and you're good.
...though I vaguely recall you mentioning that you had some more missing dates to share? Or are you waiting until they come up on How Far Back?
[Also some participation from JohnConduitt would be great! I sadly forgot to invite them when they showed up on the How Far Back thread.]

No, I THINK that I have shared all catch ups now, however, I do have a few coins purchased which haven't arrived yet, I'll have to check if any of these are catch ups. My next 1200's coin is 1224, so it will be a bit of a wait. I'm still chipping away at my OFEY, a long way to go.... don't know if I'll fit it all into my lifetime, to my satisfaction! Still a worthwhile pursuit.

Sorry @J1m, I'm getting the threads mixed up in my head, I think these Lyrica meds I'm taking are muddling my thinking. I'll wait until they get played in HFBCWG7 soon, before I bring them out in this walk-back.

Ok, here's another catch up as said by me and promptly forgotten  Rev. Inscriptions on two lines with the name of the workshop inside a double square. Outside each side and beginning with the top segment, the date in all letters; a circle bordering the whole. Translation: "Struck on Hamah In the year seven hundred and forty-six "  The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.

I checked Zeno; looks like this coin squeaks in under the "single-year type with illegible date" exemption. Nice entry!
