Happy Independence Day! Three I pulled from circulation back in 1976: US Quarter Dollar 1976 US Half Dollar 1976 US 1 Dollar 1976
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The obligatory Bicentennial Ike! In case you did not know, I got this one a while back from a friend. Thank you, nickelsearcher!

@jbuck: You were robbed! That coin is missing most of its design!

What the coin lost in mass was more than compensated by nickelsearcher's generosity.

Appreciate the kind acknowledgment @jbuck. I purchased that honestly worn Ike raw at a local show, hoping it would certify to join jbuck otherwise outstanding MS Ike collection. It did - became a gift amongst coin friends - and the rest is history. Hmmm - jbuck has a worn Ike and commems has a worn Roanoke Island Half. Appears that I have made a positive impact with some true pillars of this tremendous forum.
