*** Edited by Staff to Add Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Had 3 and I checked them and was happy to find one of them did not have a mint mark.

The other two are D marks.
I guess those are ones that are more valuable?

Just like the other 809,784,015 minted in Philadelphia that year.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Just a beat-up Philadelphia minted quarter. Someone started a rumor that a missing mint mark was an error making these rare and valuable, but with 809,784,000 coins struck with no mint mark, once circulated, they are just spending money.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Hmm I guess I'll post my two D mint Bi's over on the regular coinage page, just to get the stats on them there.

Agreed this quarter is a well circulated coin that was minted in Philadelphia - your other 2 are from Denver, and more likely not much more in value than this one - they were just produced in different locations.
