I added this interesting 1866 Three Cent Nickel to my set. It appears to be 1866B14 in the Ultimate Guide to U.S. Three Cent Nickels. It has a Repunched Date of 1866/86 and a Double Die Obverse visible below the horizontal bases of the obverse letters, most noticeably the "RI" in "AMERICA". If I'm getting my terminology right, it also has a number of radial die cracks as well as die clashes visible to the right of the III on the reverse and behind Liberty's hair on the obverse. I'm guessing the obverse also shows Die Deterioration? It's certainly a microcosm of the early challenges the Mint had striking copper nickel coins. Thoughts?

Nice repunched date. Congratulations.

All those die cracks on the reverse are neat. That one @ k12 looks like it extends down between the first and second column.

I'm guessing this is a typo, since 1866 over 1886 wouldn't be possible.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! There are 4 similar variety types per the Ultimate Guide to U.S. Three Cent Nickels: 1866B14, 14a, 14b, and 14c. Given the obvious clashing, I've ruled out 14 (which lacks clashing). The weak "AT" in "STATES" and the numerous die cracks lead me to think it might be 14c?

The book referenced above refers to the RPD as 1866/86 because only the middle two digits (86) are repunched:

A secondary "8" & "6" are visible north of or above the primary "8" and first "6".
