1939 Jefferson Nickel With Doubled Monticello

This one wasn't pocket change. Working through my dad's huge collection clearly dominated by nickels. He has thousands of nickels. This one in a small box on the floor in a 2x2 with about 20 other nickels marked as full steps. I've not seen a clear full steps on about the fist half dozen I checked out though. But he had this one marked correctly however. Guessing it might get a VF but my grading ability is a bit questionable.

Haha, the big dog! =) That is one huge 1939 DDR. Some of it got chewed away by circulation, but that spread on the LLO is awesome. Good for your dad, stashing that one away.

The reason I ask members for an attribution number is to get them to research their finds. I hope sometimes they actually do.
