Hey guys I'm new to coin collecting and still learning about different error coins as well as grading. Was hoping someone could take a look at the pics of this coin and let me know if you see any errors and what you think the grade of this coin is . As well as what it may be worth I have a ton of coins I'm interested in selling.. thanks in advance

Looks to be a common, circulated '65 quarter with the usual dings and tics. Worth 25 cents.

Let's start your education gently.

Almost everything you see on a circulated coin is damage. START there. A mint error is a Zebra and when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras.

Coins are struck in giant industrial presses at high speeds and dumped into huge nylon bags. Those bags are moved by forklift to trucks, dumped into high-speed counters, and wrapped for distribution to banks. The wrapping machines have steel blades that spin at high rates to crimp the ends of the rolls (the Ring of Death circular scratch).

Once out in the wild, coins are tumbled together in pockets and purses. Dropped on counters, slid across counters to make payment. Dropped on the sidewalk and roadways. Run over. They get caught in machines. Elevator doors. Escalators.

Little boys use Daddy's tools to bang on them.

Go read https://www.error-ref.com/ to see the real errors.

I agree except in this grade it is quite uncommon. The bruising and scratching are unfortunate but there are very very very few of these with less wear than this one.

I see no error or variety though.

@Dcoffman1298 - Appears to be a regular 1965 quarter, with normal circulation wear and hits.

This needed to be repeated.

It's a normal, circulated 1965 Washington quarter with damage. Just a spender.
