I'd been looking for this date for years and finally found one. The price seemed awfully high for what you might assume should be a common coin but I didn't want to miss a rare opportunity. The D and C mint 1850s seem more common than the Philadelphia coins.

What do you all think about this one?

I don't see even a hint of anything that would detail this coin.

Very nice eye-appeal with original patina. Doesn't have a "washed-out look".

This is a tough date and really undervalued! I would like to get this date at some point.

I like the coin. It has good color and no real distracting marks. There is a little chatter on the rim, but it could be ignored or the service may have net graded the coin as a non details coin, but subtracted a few points from the grade. It looks like an AU-50 to me in detail and luster.

I think its' a prize coin!
