Please, could someone please tell me what kind of error, obverse and reverse, this 2017 D penny has? I saw a couple of errors beside the obvious one and would like to see what you think. Also, was this a mint or PM error. Thank you for your time. Please forgive if this isn't the best picture, I really am trying.

to the CCF!

Sorry, but this coin isn't an error, it's been damaged. ( PMD) It may be a Dryer Coin, or someone has filed through the copper plate and into the zinc core. If you weigh it, I'm sure it will be under weight due to the loss of metal.

Keep looking, error coins are out there!

You can make as many as you like by just using sand paper on it. Coins are just damaged worth one cent each.

Top load washing machine damage.

On some other forums someone posted pictures of coins stuck in a bottom grove of their machine that produced the spun nipple effect seen here.

Excellent example of a heavily abraded coin. Hold onto it as a fun curiosity.

It's not an error. Just PMD. It's been sanded down or been in a dryer.
