@buck, first welcome to CCF. Second, thx for following up your first thread with this one containing pics. To help others respond to your specific questions, I've copied your text from this earlier thread here:

I'm a small collector of US coins most for novelty purposes. But I came across a 3.1g us penny with no mint mark condition is pretty dam good but I'm no grader but the details of both side are chips clean a very clear. So one noticeable error that I rarely seen was no mint mark and then I noticed the date at first glance I thought it was 1931 penny as I picked up up to use my magnifying glass I saw that the thrird digit in the date would change to an 8 then a E the a S. So I looked closer and yes even under a magnifying glass up close it was definitely changing characters. Slo I flipped it over to see the memorial side and right off the top on the right side last 2 steps the LETTERS EG are noticeable so any help will do I have a unique error coin or is it post mint

A Lincoln Cent that does not have a MM just means it was minted in Philadelphia. (they don't add the MM's to the cent coins.)
The initials are 'FG' not 'EG'

If you have any questions about this coin ask away - we are here to (hopefully) answer them.

Yes so my question is the FG a common initial I couldn't find anything about it else where also the date I know the picture may not be as great but the 3rd digit in that date seem to change numbers between a 3, 6 ,8 , E,S, A even the 1 has small notch in it and at an angle I turn to a E

Frank Gasparro is the name of the engraver "FG".
Notable career achievements, including the creation of many medals and designing the reverses of the Lincoln Cent in 1959 and Kennedy half dollar in 1964.

Your 1981 One Cent looks to be quite circulated from your photos, and probably all those
things you mention are just circulation hits & wear.

Just a normal circulated 1981 Lincoln Cent. If you are interested in varieties and errors, I would strongly suggest studying up on sites like, varietyvista.com, error-ref.com and doubleddie.com. You will be way ahead of the game if you know what to look for before looking. Good luck!

to the CCF and Just a common ordinary cent. Beware of Pareidolia. You can see anything you want to see, if you look at a coin long enough.
