1969 D Dime: MD Or Something Else?

There are no listings for this year. There is a minor raised line in front of the bottom forehead. I don't know what it is below the nose. In front of the mouth looks like MD with maybe a die chip in it?

My guess would be clash remnants. It looks like you can see where some of the bridge of the nose was abraded away too.

That's the prime area for Die Clash artifacts and Roosevelt's profile does seem to have been heavily polished on the die. Here's an overlay that show about where you would expect to see clash marks.

could be a a clash as makecents stated, but I do see a lot of DDD on this coin with radial flow lines present.

Yes it was a very worn die to be sure. Clash looks good but probably not a coin I'll keep. If there was more clarity in the marks on the coin, it would be a different story.
