Here are three 1598 siblings to spence's Livonia trojak:   In 1597-1598 the Polish treasury did an experiment using letters for mint marks, instead of the previous system of mintmaster's initials or other symbols. These photos show the results for three mints, also showing different ways the dates were portrayed: Top: 98 B for the Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) mint Left: 15L98 for Lublin Right: P 98 for Poznan (Posen)

 I will also go with an obscure one, this 1597 giorgino (grosso?) of the Duchy of Ferrara:   In 1598 the duke (Alphonso II) would die without an heir and the duchy ceased to exist, being absorbed as a Papal State.
