With these 1989 DDOs you absolutely need to have a die marker match, they're all to similar to guess if one coin is an earlier/later die stage with differing markers.

I recommend using CopperCoins as well, they're a bit more in-depth with markers.

Definitely not DDO-006. You don't have medium thickness on IGWT.

Usually the Letters or numbers having lines in the middle of them like that is an early sign of Die Deterioration.

EDIT: Forgot to add - "on copper plated zinc cents"

Bent, you're like a dog with a bone and a glutton for punishment. I think Tanman has given you the best advice. You have the coin in hand and just need to take you time, scouring the coin for markers. Remember, the markers you find to attribute may not always be called out either. Good luck with the 89's.

I don't like to look dd in this coin, it seems like every single 1989 are DDO and difficult to differentiate as tanman said.

Yes Dearborn I hate too, I just look for the transitional error on 1989-D Lincoln Cent, hoping that some day I could find one of them
