While I am confident there is strong doubling on the reverse perhaps I'm wrong and here to confirm. If so and considering the state of the quarter, is this considered a nice find? What would be the range for something like this.

No Value assessment until you can confirm it's actually a doubled die. You should search for a match on
the Error/Variety websites, then post your findings here on this forum, with hopefully links to your finds.
It is indeed a very nice looking 1970 25 cent.

Suggest flattening those 2x2 staples. Don't wan to risk coins in adjacent 2x2s.

Appears to be a very nice uncirculated coin. Compare your coin to these 1970 Denver DDR's listed here.... http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...201970-D.htm .... & try to find a match, then show us which one you believe it to be w/ detailed/closeup pics.

Thank you very much for that link! In fact it does meet the criteria. I took pictures to match the images. Thank you. I wonder what this would be worth? I have several beautiful coins but coin shops always say they are face value without even looking.

Please tell us which # at VV, you think is match for your coin..and not to harp on the subject,
you will need much better quality photos (close up) than you have to confirm a DDR.

If nothing else it is a fantastic looking quarter. Actually had to look twice at the mintmark to make sure it wasn't a proof.

I stripped the light. You guys are right no matter what this is a gorgeous quarter all around. But would still love thoughts. The die overflows. The AR is filled the UN and the ES
