If you are talking about the area about 1 o'clock on the obverse, I would need a closeup of that, it looks like damage at the moment.

well it is not raised up above the rim, but that could be due to the wear on the coin. The reverse still shows a fairly strong rim (as compared to the rest of the coin) I would expect a weak rim and a loss of a bit of the devices for an obverse Cud of that size.

That may be the case many times but the listing on CoC doesn't show any weakness in the strike. Maybe something to do with the thickness of the coin?
