What you have found is the doubled master die, 1972 1¢ WMDO-001, it's the first listing in the link I have provided. More than half of all 72's, all three mints have this. Very, very common.

Doubling has nothing to do w/ the word "In". You're seeing Master Die Doubling on the letters of In God We Trust, which is on 50% of the coins truck in '72. Specifically, the doubling of -009 is .... an extra bar above the 2 of the date, which in your 6th picture clearly does not display.

Hi,

Let's compare.

The example given for 1972 DDO 009 State C (thanks to Variety Vista).

We will start with point 1 which I have identified. There is a notch of copper protuding from the foot of the number two.

Point 2 is a raised area of metal all around the tail end of the foot of the number 2 in 1972.

Point 3 are the tips of the 7 in 1972 which are slightly doubled in the verified DDO.

When you compare these points on a verified DDO with your coin, I find them all missing. For these DDO identifications you have to match the finest details of the example given to know you actually have the coin that you have in hand.

..as stated above first thing you need is the Doubled Die itself, "extra bar above the 2".
Your coin doesn't show that, so you would move on to the next coin. Period.
Keep searching and listen to what people are telling you/advice here.

Sorry, not a DDO. Just Master Die Doubling.
