*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Picked these up dirt cheap as part of a small collection. Just wanted a little info. Don't know much.

Very good score I may add...

1st coin: 1882-O/S overmimtmark in ~VF-30ish, either a VAM 3, 4, or 5. (Approximate 80-90 retail)

2nd coin: 1891 Philadelphia mint approximate AU-50/53ish details cleaned, and a common date...

3rd coin: 1921-D, VF-25ish, really common date, but still highly collectable to me at least...

Best coin in your lot is the 1st coin...

Wow. Didn't realize it was O/S. I am assuming you can tell by the hashmark in the middle of the O?

Indeed, that is the primary giveaway clue.

I myself cherried a O/S 1882 sometime ago in AU-50, so that is how I got familiar with that variety, and by using alot of vamworld.com.

First off - what is "Dirt cheap"? And second - cleaned coins lose most of their collectibility and render themselves as bullion coins (except on ebay, where bidiots go crazy)

One coin per thread would be best.

Please, it is far better to present only one coin in each topic to avoid confusion in the conversation.
In each topic you should include full coin images of both sides - properly cropped to the coins edge in order to maximize the viewing of the coin and not the background so much. (which is something you did quite well), but it would also be good to include a closeup of the date and mint mark areas as well.

Any cherrypicked OMM is a good pickup.

The other two coins have been cleaned too much to be worth more than their weight in silver, but the O/S still has value to collectors (although I suspect it's also been cleaned.)
