2020-P-Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller-Quarter-Question

I found this 2020 P Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller quarter and notice another coin seems to be printed on top of it. I can make out the word "UNUM" on it. I do not know a whole lot about coins, but know that the far right line seems like an indent, but more towards the left there is parts that are raised over the words liberty and quarter. Can someone tell me what this is?
Thank you.

Sorry but this is damage, not an error. Notice how unum is reversed. This is from someone pressing another coin into the quarter.

But it is raised not indented..honest question: If it was from someone purposefully smashing another coin onto it wouldn't it be indented?

I would wager that it was the reverse of another quarter that was squeezed into this one. Modern quarters are the only coin with an incuse unum which would make a raised feature.

Sorry if I was not very clear, again I don't know too much. But it's not the actual word unum that is raised. It is the whole impression onto the quarter.

Probably glue of some sorts. Another coin was stuck to it and freed, which explains why it is raised and you can see the reversed image of "unum". You can probably flake it off with a knife, Or a soak in pure acetone to remove glue.

That would be beyond what I know. See what the experts here have to say.

The yellow line the quarter is actually indented, but the red line and to the left then starts the actual impression. I'm pretty positive it isn't just glue, I even tried to scape it with nothing coming off

to CCF.
Looks like a quarter was placed on top of this one then smashed with a very big hammer or sledge - that would explain the slide area between the red and yellow lines.

Now it's indented? Before you said it was raised? I'm still saying glue or something, especially with the spot that is cleaner than rest of the coin. See that alot with glued coins.
Whatever it is, it's a damaged coin.

Yes just trying to explain the best I can. Yellow line indents into face, the red line then and markings to left is the impression as I would call it. Whatever it is also goes over the L in liberty and also the QU in quarter

Seeker nails it. Incuse "UNUM" on the quarter that was pressed/slammed into your quarter led to the raised lettering, kind of like how the waffle batter fills in all the space on a waffle maker.

To be on the safe side put it in your questionable pile, then when you become more knowledgeable (from this site and its members) you can make the decision to either spend it or keep for your collection. you can click on any blue hi-lighted texts that will bring you to useful sites.
