Disregarding the fact that the obverse looks polished, the reverse seems to be a candidate for FB designation. Your thoughts?

Coin appears wiped or mishandled, but the bands certainly look full to me.

While those middle bands have nice separation, as you have noted, the obverse will make this a problem coin. Also, that left reverse field has what appears to be a large scratch (unless it's a raised die scratch, it's hard to tell from that pic).

I agree, it appears to be FSB, but the cleaning will prevent it from getting a straight grade. I hate when people mess with coins.

Problem coin, having said that this is a good example of a circulated full bands coin, which they do attribute as such.

Another one plucked from my dad's pile of coins. A plethora a problem coins sometimes revealing a diamond in the rough. As some of you may know, he has entrusted me to liquidate his entire collection which I have been slogging through for the last couple of months.
Actually, it is not going to bad. I have an ebay store and not doing to bad. This is my first stop for the problem coins and put them up for sale as such based on the community consensus. I list as details. Clean, scratched, damage, etc. And they are priced accordingly and do sell. heck, I have purchased details examples as temporary fillers myself. So all is not a loss.
With five complete Walker Half sets, and six more complete 41-47 sets, I am compiling one upgraded complete collection turning sales and purchases into better grades.
A long haul and much work but I love every minute of it. It's for my dad.

@Dowhat: If you have an ebay store, you should put your username in your profile (there is a 'Sales info' box to put it) so it shows every time you post so we can go 'shopping' there.

but yes, this dime is FB, but a shame about the harsh cleaning..
