There is what is called "seeding" that some sellers do in order to entice a customer to buy something more or continue buying. From what you have told us that you have paid for most of your finds though, I do not know, just be careful. That is another nice doubled die.

very nice DDR - very nice images. The coin is in great condition, but the die that struck it was wearing out - I can see radial flow lines on the fields.

Hi, That thought has crossed my mind. Whenever I find a doubled die in a BU roll I usually find at least 5 to 8+ in the roll. On average I buy 10 to 12 rolls for about $6 to $8 per roll. Good dates and mint marks from the 60's 70's and some zinc rolls. It was only this week that I became suspicious.

Excellent variety and images. I'm glad to see your finds in years that are more readily available, but less often searched.
Are the rolls you are getting original or opened? If they are original and unopened seems like seeding shouldn't be a worry.
I came across a single 1970s small date in a tubed roll and the same thought crossed my mind about seeding.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Hi, mostly tubed. Only 3 or 4 are suspicious out of 70 or so rolls in all Mostly all the coins are very nice red BU EMDS. A hand full of rolls not soo much but BU. For instance I had two rolls of 1992 D BW and they were cir. I took them back and got an exchange for BU rolls.

Nice find, yes. Seeding can (and does occasionally happen) but it's not necessarily unspeakably evil. Just manage expectations and enjoy the hunt.
