For your viewing pleasure today, I have a 1919 Lincoln with strong woodgrain toning. On the reverse, the E in EPU has a planchet flaw/lamination and the N of ONE has a small diagonal linear lamination.

Beautiful woodgrain coin, I think it would grade MS-62.

If you added up the grades on all my 1919s, I don't think they would equal that one.

Very hard to grade even with such good pictures, almost need to see it in hand. Looks like a slight rub on the cheek and jaw, but the luster is more consistent with MS. My best picture guess is AU-55 to MS-63. Have any angled shots?

Very nice coin. I don't see any wear evident. I'm calling it MS63. The woodgrain can confuse the designation but I would say RB.

My guess is MS63BN. What's going on above the "E" in E Pluribus Unum? Is it a planchet flaw?

Sweet looking piece!

OK, the angle helps....I think what we're seeing is just some weakness in the strike....I revise my estimate:

MS64-RB

It's an absolutely beautiful example. I suspect the luster is quite nice in hand...that plays a huge part in the grade.

Yes, this one is quite lustrous but the woodgrain tone makes it quite difficult to grade from photos. I purchased this one from forum member ducky1100 in January through his website http://www.duckyscoins.com/ for the excellent price of around $18

Ducky rocks, I love that man! I've bought quite a few coins from him as well. Great deal, congrats!
