Presumably with all the publicity, there will be either two people at the auction bidding high enough to realise full price, or at least one person ready to buy it cheaply to immediately repatriate it and sell in the US marketplace. Also, there's this thing called the internet that would actually allow a US buyer to participate in their auction via webcast!
