A pewter Continental dollar recently discovered in the Cotswolds, England, authenticated by NGC. Looks like it will be sold on Oct 3, but I would think it would bring more at a major US auction house than a local auction house in rural England...

Presumably with all the publicity, there will be either two people at the auction bidding high enough to realise full price, or at least one person ready to buy it cheaply to immediately repatriate it and sell in the US marketplace.

@Sap, I guess you're right. Also, there's this thing called the internet that would actually allow a US buyer to participate in their auction via webcast! They probably got enough publicity now that it doesn't matter where it's held.
