Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6384 Posts	Posted 05/05/2009 6:43 pm I picked this one up from our coin club auction. I thought it was a very presentable, lightly-circulated example of this better date. Traces of luster remain in the protected areas. How would you all grade it? I notice the second 9 in the date is shaped a bit differently than the first. Is that perhaps caused by the date being positioned so close to the rim? I don't see any sign of damage in that location. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Report this Post to the Staff

steve199 Pillar of the Community United States 1882 Posts	Posted 05/05/2009 7:30 pm The second nine looks normal to me (yes, different than the first one). VF35. The reverse is holding it back from EF40 or even EF45. This is my non-expert opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
