I think it makes FH criteria, but unfortunately I agree with the ED opinions. AU detail and well-struck, but with a significant impairment.

AU-53, PCGS is loose on this type so I think it would pass no problem. As for full head, it appears to be well struck, but the TPGs don't attribute them as FH below AU-58 as far as I know.

This Coin has environmental damage, if a TPG straight graded this that would be sad.

SLQs grading down to at least 55 can get a FH designation, from PCGS anyway.

PCGS has values for 1920-s FH SLQs down to AU55. And I've seen an NGC slabbed AU53 FH SLQ on ebay. Some of you guys have said that this coin has been cleaned. If that is the case then would it devalue the coin any further if I dipped or polished the coin to remove the black spots? If not then which TPG would be the best one to send it to for any possible restoration?

I washed the coin with soap and water and gave it acetone baths several times. Some of the black stuff came off or faded some. Are your opinions still the same? I'd really like some input on which TPG would be the most lenient towards ED and has the best restoration capability. This coin would really pop in value if it were full head with AU 55 or higher grade.

The coins is DEFINITELY cleaned now! Sorry to say but you ruined it. Don't clean coins like that again.

the new cleaning didn't change anything. PCGS FH designation. FH designations can be attributed at AU50 and above Type II Standing Liberty quarters receive the Full Head designation when the helmet exhibits three complete and distinct leaves, a complete outline on the bottom of the helmet, and a clear ear hole on Miss Liberty's head. this is really close and could receive the designation. I'm not sure if they attribute it on a details coin and there is no doubt this coin would not go straight. AU details
