Looks like heat or acid damage. What's the weight of your coin?
Errers and Varietys.

Looks like it has that "Blow torch" texture to the surfaces. Like E&V stated, the weight should tell the story. Light weight usually points to acid and normal weight points to heat damage.

Post strike damage, yes. I've seen similar in the past--thinking it could be a brief encounter with an intense heat source, or an acid bath.

Seen some filled 9's from unc boxes in the past yeah in the garage looks like I sprung a leak in here these things are getting all wet. Thanks for posting it reminded me to check for mold and stuff around the coins There are four one one page 1955 s though I need a 1945 filled 9 in the filled 9's variety section. As far as funky surfaces I got a few 1943's 1966 2gram with funny surface Theirs a lot of funny surfaces out there man they are cool though. Keep up the good work coin roll hunting.

1943 non magnetic faint date 3 close to rim. 1943 obliterated looks like 43 but is 2.5 g so probably 1983 Thin cent 1961-d in sandwiched with wheat reverse the 1961-d thin cent saved from destruction by boiling. The other side has funny target like surface. As well as the steel cent has velvety surface
