Hi all! Hope you are well! I had this 1983 S proof quarter for a while and just realized what I had!! In my defense I had NO idea what a proof coin was before this amazing place so thank you!!! And I realize they arent perfect.... I took total of 4 pics 2 in different lighting if you need better ones please lmk and I can do that. What do you think? (And where could I sell if actually worth anything? Seriously I could really use the money.....)

Agree--somewhat difficult to pinpoint a grade given the pics posted.. Likely falls in the PR62-65 range. There appear to be some light scratches and rub marks. Was the coin found in circulation?

Seeing scratches on the second set of pictures. Too hard to give an accurate grade on proof coins from pictures but scratches it should be lower PF60's

I figured pics wouldn't be good enough lol I get home to take pics where I always do any HOLY MOLY IT'S NOT GOOD PEOPLE OF THE COIN COMMUNITY!!! I'm ngl I'm seriously bummed out and am now ashamed for posting before proper pics were taken so go ahead and let me have it! Lol As promised here you go.... don't beat me to too badly lol OH! Yes found in circulation!! Kinda sad cuz I'll probably NEVER come across one again....

tough coins to photograph. as you can see all 3 sets of photos look completely different. proofs almost always are going to show hairlines. this one, which is don't think is impared, is probably on the lower end of PF.
