It's spring! I am sure many people are reacquainting themselves with the sunlight and yard and gardening. I know I am. Soon, it will be too hot for any of that, and I'll be back inside, in the air conditioning, full time once again in front of the computer. I bet there are at least 3 other members on this site to whom this might also apply.

It hasn't slacked off from this direction. I was laid-off from my job as a quality engineer last week.

It had been very stressful at work since the lay-offs started last fall and it's kind of a relief to be out of there.

I am going to take a month off before I even start looking for another job and become an amateur coin dealer in the interim.

I hope everyone is enjoying their spring! See you around!

Spring? It's autumn down here in the other hemisphere.

Sap
You mean "Fall"

As everyone knows Since the Southern hemisphere is below the equator

everyone down there walks on their heads and is "Falling" off the Earth.

thank Heaven for gravity!

Me too. I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you my friend.

I'm looking forward to September, I'm going to Denmark for a whole Month. I'm not looking forward that I might not be able to post! I am wondering if I bring my laptop, if I'll have Internet service (wi-fi) over there I went a couple years ago and a Month is a long time. I want to be able to get on the CCF at least once a day

I think you're correct in your observation. I've been posting less than usual because there's a lull in things to talk about, at least on my end. However, there will be three new coins arriving later this month, and that might give us something to talk about.

Isn't the 2009 Lincoln Cent 2nd version supposed to be released on Thursday the 14th? That's just a few days away. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I go searching the banks for it.

Yes - the 14th it is. My brother-in-law works very close to Union Station in D.C. and I've asked him to pick up a dozen rolls for me Thursday. I even sent him $20 for the trouble! Nice guy huh?
