Hi everyone, It's been a while since I've posted here so hello to all old friends and looking forward to meeting the new joiners since last I posted. Recently got back into coin collecting and wanted to get some opinions on the below 1933 Shilling PCGS MS61 that I am interested in purchasing. It's a bit pricey so want to get others thoughts on it too. Also appears Sterling and Currency once sold this coin too, they have the photos as follows: Some things that I wanted to get some thoughts on it appears on the Coat of Arms side there appear to be parallel lines in the fields towards the top (more prominent in the Sterling and Currency lot of photos), although it doesn't go into the design itself (the PCGS photos seem to show cartwheeling lustre.) It's not an indicator of polishing or anything is it? (Think I am just overthinking it) Appreciate your help with this and very happy to be back!! Oh My Florin

Not my field, but a handsome coin for sure.

There are some light hairline scratches to the right of George V. My guess is that this is why it got 61.

Four diamonds on crown head band not well defined. King's beard detail not well defined. Feathers on emu's back not well defined.
For these high points, need to examine under higher magnification than these pics show, to determine if luster has been disturbed with some very minor wear, or just a weaker strike.
1933 Shillings at this sort of grade level are quite scarce, with a big variation in value between MS-58 and MS 61.
Proceed with caution.

Thanks guys, I have had a look at some of the other MS63 and MS65 examples that have sold and appears the emu back as well as headband tend to present weakly. There are some higher magnification photos of this one on the Sterling and Currency website and the PCGS photos on the website are higher resolution: Cert number is39680493 https://www.sterlingcurrency.com.au...-choice-uncIForgive me if links aren't allowed
