If all of us were in a large meeting room, you would have no problem of someone shaking your hand and say "welcome" offer you coffee and talk coins with you. I give my opinion on coins and am wrong often but the experts step in to correct me. I am not offended and that is how I learn.

to the CCF. This should never be an issue in this group. I'm wrong more often than I'm right, and the worst I've ever experienced was being told I'm wrong. Great group of people here, and most have vast knowledge regarding coins. |

Was this a case of a damaged mintmark punch? I know one was being used around that year - but maybe a little later like in the early 70's - I just can't remember exactly when.
