Was able to add another. This is an interesting date as FDR had just been elected and began solving the issues wrought by the Depression. Only cents, half dollars and a few double eagles were minted in 1933. Now only 1869, 1873 and 1940 left.

Amazing collection, numismatic student!
I am also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the strike of the early dollars. For instance, the 1794 Flowing Hair Dollar in XF40 is exquisitely sharp and vibrant.

Thanks for your continued kind comments. I have a predilection for unworn reverse dies for this issue, as I love seeing the fine vertical lines in 'III' sharply struck. One more addition knocking 1869 out. Just 1873 and 1940 left.

I thought about extending the set to 1964 which the last year of silver coinage or 1982, the last year of bronze coinage. I will consider doing those extensions in the future. I am just unsure about going to the moderns, but I am leaning towards doing it.

I did switch the 1864 1c with L on ribbon to a 1864 2c as that was the first year of that odd denomination series. Also switched the 1892-CC Morgan with the 1892 Liberty nickel because I love the spectacular toning. The coins I switched out can still be found in the Indian cent and Morgan dollar pages at the site. Just choosing the best representative coin in the boxes for each date.

You can go to 2009 if you want to include the 4 commemorative Lincoln cents.

If going to 2009, I would add ASE, that way you can keep it with precious metals. There are a lot of coins that could be included like some commemoratives, the ASE, AGE.

I'm like you though a lot of modern is just not my thing.
